Overview
Sapphire Cleanrooms provide an economical, versatile solution to clean manufacturing requirements in semiconductor, medical device, and many other industries. Unlike other hardwall modular cleanrooms on the market which require complex suspended ceiling supports, Sapphire Modular’s Hardwall cleanrooms are completely free-standing structures.
A variety of panel materials are offered to meet your requirements for chemical resistance, light wave length intensity and overall strength and security. Totally transparent walls make it easy to monitor activities in the room. These crystal clear panels create a cleanroom that is more aesthetically appealing than regular softwall rooms.
PASS THROUGH CHAMBERS
Contamination-controlled material transfer systems designed to eliminate unnecessary personnel entry and maintain cleanroom integrity.
Overview
Pass-through chambers are designed to maintain cleanroom integrity by enabling material transfer without requiring personnel movement between controlled environments.
These systems reduce contamination risk through mechanical interlocks, seamless construction, and optional filtration or sterilization features, making them suitable for a wide range of cleanroom classifications and applications.
Key Features & Capabilities
Engineered for performance, scalability, and compliance in controlled environments.
Mechanical Interlock System
Prevents both doors from opening at the same time, eliminating cross-contamination between spaces. Operates mechanically, requiring no power and ensuring reliable, low-maintenance performance.
Seamless Interior Design

AIR SHOWERS
High-velocity, HEPA-filtered decontamination systems engineered to remove particulate contamination from personnel prior to cleanroom entry.
Overview
Air showers are fully enclosed, self-contained passage systems designed to allow personnel to enter controlled environments without compromising cleanliness or operational efficiency.
Each unit delivers concentrated Class 100 clean air streams through strategically arranged nozzles along walls and ceilings, ensuring uniform particle removal. When activated via floor switch or motion sensors, high-velocity air (6,000–7,000 FPM / 30–41 m/s) dislodges contaminants from garments and exposed surfaces.
A closed-loop recirculation system captures contaminated air through floor-level grilles and internal plenums, re-filtering it through HEPA or ULPA filters. This continuous process removes up to 99.97% of particles ≥0.3 microns, maintaining consistent air purity throughout operation.
Interlocking door systems prevent cross-contamination between controlled zones, while integrated safety mechanisms ensure automatic door release during power failure or emergency conditions.
