Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 10, 2026 • Last updated: August 10, 2026
1. Overview
Sapphire Cleanrooms ("Sapphire Cleanrooms," "we," "us," or "our") designs, builds, and supplies cleanroom systems and equipment for pharmaceutical, semiconductor, biotechnology, aerospace, healthcare, and research-laboratory clients. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through sapphirecleanrooms.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you — including specific rights for California residents under the CCPA/CPRA.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit information to us.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what we collect automatically, and what we may receive from other sources.
Information you provide directly
- Contact and quote requests — name, company name, job title, email address, phone number, country/region, and the project details or message you submit through the Contact Us and Get a Quote forms.
- Any files, drawings, or specifications you choose to upload or send us as part of a quote request.
- Correspondence — information you provide when you email, call, or otherwise communicate with our sales or support team.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, and general usage patterns, collected through standard web server logs and cookies (see Section 4).
- Approximate location inferred from your IP address (city/region level only).
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from trade shows, industry partners, or publicly available business sources (e.g., a colleague referring your company for a quote). We do not purchase consumer data lists.
Confirm this list still matches the live form fields any time a form on Contact Us or Get a Quote is changed, so this section stays accurate.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to quote requests, contact form submissions, and general inquiries;
- Prepare proposals, technical drawings, and project documentation;
- Manage our relationship with you, including order fulfillment, shipping, and after-sale support;
- Maintain and improve the Site's performance, security, and content;
- Comply with legal, tax, export-control, and regulatory obligations; and
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not engage in third-party behavioral advertising on this Site at this time.
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device that help a site function and, in some cases, help us understand how it's used. We currently keep cookie use to what's needed to run the Site:
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Can be disabled? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the Site to load, navigate between pages, and submit forms securely. | WordPress session cookies, security/CSRF-protection cookies | No — the Site may not function without these. |
| Functional | Remembers choices you make (such as language) to improve your visit. | Language preference cookie | Yes, via your browser settings. |
| Analytics | Not currently active. If added in the future (e.g., to understand which product pages are most useful), this table will be updated first. | — | N/A at this time |
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Because we don't currently run analytics or advertising cookies, a cookie-consent banner is not strictly required for legal compliance today — but we recommend adding a simple "Accept" notice regardless, and revisiting this section immediately if Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or similar tools are ever installed, since that changes what's disclosed here and may require an opt-in banner.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers who help us run the Site and our business — for example, our web hosting provider (Hostinger), email delivery services, and CRM or quoting tools — under obligations to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide us.
- Shipping and logistics partners, when fulfilling an order requires sharing delivery details.
- Professional advisors, such as accountants or lawyers, where necessary.
- Legal and safety reasons — to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sapphire Cleanrooms, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers — if Sapphire Cleanrooms is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a comparable one.
6. Data Retention & Security
We keep personal information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, fulfill a project or order, meet our legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes — typically no longer than [X years — confirm retention period with client] after our last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Object to or restrict certain processing; and
- Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you specific rights over your personal information. This section describes those rights and how to exercise them.
Categories of information we collect
In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by the CCPA: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); commercial information (products/services inquired about); internet or network activity (Site usage data); and professional or employment-related information you provide (job title, company name). We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA.
Your CCPA rights
- Right to know — what personal information we've collected, used, disclosed, and the categories of sources and third parties involved.
- Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we've collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of today. If that ever changes, this section and the link below will be updated.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — not applicable, as we do not collect sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
Since we don't sell or share personal information, this link routes to our contact section — clicking it lets you confirm your preference or ask a question directly. If data sales/sharing practices ever change, this will be replaced with a live opt-out mechanism.
How to submit a request
Email us at the address in Section 11 with the subject line "California Privacy Request." You, or an authorized agent acting on your behalf, may submit a request. We will verify your identity using the information you've provided to us (such as matching the email on file) before fulfilling the request.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business use by industry professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Material changes will be noted here for a reasonable period.
